Returns & Right of Withdrawal

As a consumer you have the right to withdraw from a distance contract. Below we explain how it works.

Right of withdrawal (14 days)

• Eligible consumers generally have 14 days from receiving the goods to withdraw without giving a reason.
• After notifying the seller, the goods must be returned within the period required by law.
• You can notify us of withdrawal by email or using the model withdrawal form. Using this form is not mandatory.

Reimbursement

• We refund eligible payments in accordance with applicable law.
• We may withhold reimbursement until we receive the goods back or you supply evidence of return shipment, where the law permits.
• We reimburse the standard outbound delivery cost to the extent required by consumer law. Additional cost from choosing a more expensive delivery method than the standard option need not be reimbursed, where applicable.

Cost of returning the goods

• For a change-of-mind withdrawal, where we informed you in advance, the direct cost of returning the goods is normally borne by the customer.
• The cost of returning a defective or non-conforming product is borne by the seller, as required by law.

Condition of returned goods

You may inspect the goods as you would in a physical store. However, you may be responsible for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Plants are living goods. Consumers keep the statutory right of withdrawal; returned plants must be sent back promptly and in a condition that still allows them to be grown on. We apply no exclusions beyond what the law provides.
